Founded in 1972, this NALSAS accredited program serves 185 students citywide. Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos Puerto Rican High School (PACHS) is a work partner of the Juan Antonio Corretjer Puerto Rican Cultural Center, a member of the National Coalition for Alternative Community Schools, and is affiliated with Youth Connection Charter School.

Programs & Services

The multicultural curriculum of PACHS provides intensive academic and community-oriented learning experiences in the context of Puerto Rican and Latino life. PACHS has an urban agriculture program and its own green house. Students need 20 credits to graduate.

Admissions

Students are required to interview before being accepted. All seniors have a 1-year residency and present a graduation project and portfolio as part of their graduation requirement. Graduation and class fees are required. Full scholarships are available.
